SEPTEMBER LNO (Teens and Tweens Invited!):  The Joys of Ready, Writing, and Publishing a Book

On Tuesday, September 13, we are honored to have Dean Hardy speak to us about the joy of reading, writing, and becoming a published author.  Dean has written a middle-grade fantasy/adventure book titled Magnus Kir.  Check out the book at www.MagnusKir.com .  It's clean, intriguing, and chock full of morals and even some spiritual parallels if one is willing to unpack them. We are inviting our teens and tweens to join us for this special meeting!  You may want to have your teen/tween read the book before listing to Mr. Hardy (just a suggestion!).

Dean Hardy
Dean is the teacher of Christian Philosophy and Apologetics at Charlotte Christian School. Even though he was brought up in a strong Christian home, he questioned his faith during his college years. During this time of questioning, he came to the conclusion that Christianity was the only cohesive and rational religion. Since then he worked with Youth for Christ for three years, became a Christian school teacher, and received a masters in apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary. He has spoken at Intervarsity and FCA meetings, the ACSI and GCACS teachers conferences, was published in Areopagus Journal, and has authored the book entitled Stand Your Ground, published by Wipf and Stock.

Please RSVP by Monday, September 12 to Marie Beavers, MDichoso@aol.com.  Looking forward to seeing you there!
