Event Coordinator

Event Details: - FALL COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT - This Fall, PATH will be helping out the Birthday Blessings organization.  This organization serves the homeless community in Charlotte by providing birthday parties for homeless children, as well as baby baskets for newborns.  You can check them out on their website:  http://www.birthdayblessings.org/.  There two ways you and your family members (kids included!) can serve:

Friday, September 17 (10a - 1p):   A limited number of PATH family members can go to the organization to help wrap presents, make decorations, etc for birthday parties--whatever the Birthday Blessings needs on that day.  Due to space limitations, Birthday Blessings can only accommodate 10-14 people.  Families do not need to stay the entire time.  You need not bring anything other than a servant's heart!  NOTE:  We are trying to come up with another date to go to Birthday Blessings (October 8th)--we will update you soon!  Please RSVP to Lisa Clifford (see email address below) by September 15.

if you can't make this event, here is another opportunity......

Tuesday, October 5 (12:30p - 2:30p):  PATH families can get together at the Christ Life Church office (NOT the church itself, but an office building belonging to Christ Life Church), located near the Target in Matthews (across the street from the batting cages) to make candy necklaces and goodie bags.  We have a lot more room at this office!  Members will be asked to donate candy and some other supplies to make these items, and PATH has some supplies as well (stay tuned for more info!).  Again, families do not need to stay the entire time.  Please RSVP to Lisa Clifford by October 3.
