6th Annual Balloon Day

Event Coordinator

Directions - Unionville Indian Trail Road, use the main Lake Park Entrance (Lake Park Drive).  Take Lake Park Drive to the center of town (facing the clock tower), travel around the clock tower to the next stop sign.  Go straight through the stop sign to a traffic circle (Howard Circle), proceed around the traffic circle, take the third right off the traffic circle (Conifer Circle).  Travel on Conifer Circle for a short distance and Founder's Park will be on your right, white stone gazebo.

Event Details: Our 6th Annual BALLOON DAY will be Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 12:30. We will gather at one location (Founder's Park) and each release a balloon with
a card attached to it. The card asks that whoever finds the balloon (of course when it lands) please fill out the location of where the balloon was found and drop it in the mail. The cards include the child's first name and last initial. After the balloons are release we wait and see who's balloon travels the longest distance.

PATH families interested in participating in this activity will gather in Lake Park at Founder's Park for a picnic lunch at 12:30pm. After the picnic lunch we will announce the winners from last year and then finally release the balloons. Please contact Angie Bohlman abohlman001@carolina.rr.com to RSVP.
